U-Pick Apples: Pick Your Own at Tanners Orchard This Fall
Apple picking is a timeless tradition for many families. We invite you to maintain or create your traditions here at Tanners Orchard. Visit us this fall for U-Pick Apples. Starting in early September during Festival Days, you can take a wagon ride out to the orchard and pick your own apples. And with more than 11,000 U-Pick apple trees and 17 varieties of apples, you’re sure to find your favorite type. No one else around has a selection quite like ours. Pick one bag or several: we have plenty! Check out our apple chart to see when the different varieties are ripe and ready to pick.
U-Pick Details
Our U-Pick hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day in September and October. Last admission to the orchard is at 4:15 p.m., so please plan accordingly. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as well as cash for payment. Keep in mind, U-Pick will be open as long as there are apples left to pick.
In addition to U-Pick Apples, we also offer U-Pick Pumpkins. Starting in late September, you can take a wagon ride out to our 20-acre pumpkin patch where you can choose from six different varieties of pumpkins. Pick up a bunch for baking, decorating or carving!
On Festival Days, we invite you to enjoy a ride in our covered wagons to pick your apples fresh from the trees. You can even book your school tour during the week to take students into the orchards on our wagons. We don’t use straw in our wagons to protect those with allergies.
