U-Pick Apples & Pumpkins

A giant apple bin, apples picked fresh right at Tanners Orchard

A trip to Tanners in September and October would not be complete without a ride through the orchard to pick your own.

Enjoy a covered wagon ride on Festival Days or walk out on weekdays. Please check in at our red U-Pick shed which is northeast of our Market and visible from the parking lot.

Apples

Beginning the first Festival Days of September, you can catch a wagon ride out to the orchard and pick your own apples. We offer more than 11,000 U-Pick apple trees and 17 varieties of apples. With a selection like ours, you most certainly will find some great apples to take home. Please see our apple chart to see when the different varieties are ripe and ready to pick.

Pumpkins

On Festival Days starting late in September, you can catch a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch where you can choose from six different varieties of pumpkins among thousands in our 20-acre pumpkin patch. You will be sure to find all the pumpkins you will need for baking or decorating!

Wagon Rides

On Festival Days take a ride in our covered wagons to go pick your apples fresh from the trees. During the week we use the wagons for the school tours. There is no straw for those with allergies.
