Eat Sticky Caramel Apples
Bite into a sweet, crunchy caramel apple from Tanners Orchard — tasty creations that can be found in the Apple Bin Bakery. Here, you can also pick up some cider donuts and fresh pies to round out your visit. Our caramel apples are made with an old German caramel recipe from 1975, where we cook the caramel for 45 minutes until the mixture becomes a velvety texture. We then hand dip each apple into the warm caramel and roll it in crushed nuts, or we can keep them plain if you prefer. Did you know we sell more than 50,000 caramel apples every year?
Feed Your Family on the Farm
What would a visit to the farm be without food? We feature a robust full lunch menu, with specials featured every day of the week. Open 11 am to 2 pm, our homemade lunches are the perfect way to complete your day on the farm. Plus, we have weekday specials served September – October on Thursdays and Fridays only from 5 pm to 7 pm if you want to eat dinner here.
Pick Apples and Ride a Wagon
Take a wagon hayride out to the orchard and pick your own apples, where we offer more than 11,000 U-Pick apple trees and 17 varieties of apples. Also, on Festival Days starting late in September, take the wagon out to our pumpkin patch, where you can select from six different varieties of pumpkins in our 20-acre pumpkin patch.
